1971 Chevelle Convertible SS Tribute

1971 Chevelle convertible SS Tribute, #s matching 270HP 350/4bbl with 64K documented actual miles, TH350 automatic, factory 12 bolt rear, power steering, power top, buckets, console, functional cowl hood, correct SS mag rims, recent professional restoration on an all original body and in the correct color of placer gold. Back story on this car is this… I purchased this car in 2009 from the ORIGINAL owner. It had 63XXX actual miles at that time and was an all original survivor car that was ordered with the 270HP 350/4bbl. I had the original owner sign a letter verifying the miles and original ownership, I also have the original window sticker, protect-o-plate, inspection sheet and original title card. The car had one repaint in 1979 due to some light hail (everything fixed correctly). Other than that, the car hadn’t been touched from 1979 until when I purchased it and It was still in excellent condition overall - including the original top! At that time, I sold the car to a local collector that eventually went ahead and did the SS tribute with beautiful new correct paint and complete all new bucket/console interior a few years ago. It still retains all of its original sheetmetal (except the cowl hood). The engine is all original (other than air cleaner) and is probably the nicest running Chevelle you will come across. Seriously, this car runs and drives like new with only around 1000 miles put on this car since I sold it in 2009! The car has now come back to us through a trade and you really need to check it out as they only produced 5089 convertibles in 1971 and with the limited production they are very hard to find. It is the second lowest production of all Chevelle convertibles. It still even has the original top with glass back window! It is not new and has a little fraying around the edges, but in good enough condition to keep and the power top works perfect. The car looks as good if not better in person. If you come see and drive this car you will want it! So, to sum up… you haven’t called yet?! It’s a keeper 😎
